Celebration of Life for Anthony (Amp) Tellis will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014, at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church in Dubberly. Pastor and teacher James E. Smith will be officiating.
Family hour will be from 6 until 7 p.m., Friday, Dec. 19, 2014, at Benevolent Funeral Home.
He is survived by his father and mother, Lester III and Cloteal Tellis of Heflin; five children, Cario McClendon of Atlanta, Georgia, Anthony D. Tellis, Tierra Tellis, Antwaune Loud and Jessica Loud, all of Minden; eight grandchildren, Ja’Toria, Sha’Caria and Tyreek Lofton of Minden, Shunt Tellis of Shreveport, Christopher Stafford of Ringgold, Tiler Tellis of Minden, Ja’Miya Loud of Minden and Asya Loud of Minden; one sister, Cherise (Gary) Bradford of Heflin; one godsister, Chare Zilliner of Dallas, Texas; three brothers, Lester IV (Arleen) Tellis, Charles R. Tellis and Loranzo Tellis, all of Heflin; numerous aunts, uncles nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and the Galilee church family.
