Funeral services for Barbara Reeves will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 18, 2015, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, with the Rev. Harrell Shelton officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Minden.
Barbara entered into rest Jan. 13, 2015, in Shreveport. She was born May 23, 1933, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama but made her home in Minden for many years, raising her family, making friends and serving the community, especially at Ed’s Food Mart.
Her husbands, Edward Kennedy and Lee Reeves and her son, Lynn Kennedy preceded her in death.
She is survived by her mother, Doris Pate of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; daughter, Pamela Kennedy Miller of Homer; siblings, Mary Webb, Juanita Foster and George Pate of Tuscaloosa; granddaughters, Colene Pipes and Adrienne Terral; and great-granddaughter, Peyton Pipes.
The family expresses their gratitude to the nurses and staff at Heritage Manor Stratmore and Life Path Hospice.
