Funeral services for Bobby E. Hunter will be held Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden with the Rev. Bill Mills officiating. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until service time Thursday.
Bobby was born March 31, 1946 in Minden and entered into rest May 15, 2016 in Texarkana, Texas. He served his country in the United States Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter Caleigh Kirk.
He is survived by is wife of 50 years, Sue Holcomb Hunter of Texarkana, Texas, son Jimmy Hunter and friend Debbie of LaGrange, Texas, daughters Dana Boyd and husband Johnny Mack of Sibley, Susan Sehon and husband Doug of Ashdown, Arkansas, Melinda Kirk and friend Lane of Shreveport, brother Wayne Hunter and wife Mae of Minden, grandchildren Max Boyd, Matt Boyd, Hunter Sehon, Stephen Kirk, Ashton Kirk, Tiffany Boyd Hunter, Brittany Sue Sanders, and Amber Howard, great-granddaughter Makayla McWilliams, his poodle that was his baby, Ladybug and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the donor’s choice as Bobby’s wish was to be cremated following funeral service.
