Funeral services for Arthur Ray Warren will be held at noon Saturday, April 29, 2017, at Victory Praise and Worship Center. Intermit will follow at Hope Well Cemetery in Dubberly.

On Tuesday, April 18, 2017 our God Almighty sent a host of heavenly angels to accompany his child home. God knew it was time for some peace and rest.

On Sept. 30, 1947 a son was born to Arthur and Ressie Warren. He confessed Christ at an early age and united with Hopewell Baptist Church. Later he united with Victory Praise Worship Center and continued to do God’s work until his health failed him.

He received his education from the Webster Parish School System, then later completed his studies at Mary Holmes College, West Point, Mississippi.

Arthur worked with the youth and mental health for the majority of the years of his employment. He was employed at Meadowbrook Rehab and Hope Youth Ranch and later at the Webster Parish Juvenile Tracking Program. He encouraged and mentored kids and adults. He would always say “that it’s nothing in life that you can’t achieve.” He later retired and then went back to work as a supervisor at Ewell Recreation Center in Minden.

Authur met the love of his life, Mary Helen Robinson Warren over 40 years ago. Later in life they were united in Holy Matrimony 20 years later where he helped raise three great children.

Arthur is no longer with us but his love, wisdom and grace will always be present through the wonderful memories that we shared.

He was preceded in death by his father Arthur Warren, mother Ressie Warren, two brothers Billy Warren and Bobby Burris, uncle/father T.H. Harris.
