Jude Melville, President and CEO of Business First Bank, announced Mike Burton as President of the Minden market.
Burton has 33 years of banking experience, most recently serving as Senior Vice President for MBL Bank.
“Mike’s leadership and experience in the banking industry combined with his knowledge of the Minden market make him a great asset to our team,” said Melville. “Throughout his career Mike has demonstrated a commitment to the growth and success of not only his clients but the Minden community as well. We look forward to teaming with him to continue that commitment.”
Burton previously served as the Senior Vice President for MBL Bank and had been part of the organization since 2001.
In addition to a degree in accounting from Louisiana Tech University, his 33 years of experience include lending, auditing and management.
Burton is the chairman for the Board of Commissioners Webster Parish Fire Protection District #7, a board member of Webster Parish 4-H Foundation and an active member of the First Baptist Church Minden.
