CAMPTI – Cameron Gray might toss another no-hitter in his career, but likely never one as quick as the one in Lakeside’s (9-10, 6-0) 19-1 thrashing of Lakeview.
Gray struck out six batters and walked three on his way to earning the win, getting plenty of support from Josh Prince and the rest of the Lakeside lineup.
Tanner Page had five RBIs on two hits, a single and triple. Jayke Stewart went 3-3 with two doubles, a single and 4 RBIs and Prince finished 2-2 with a double, single and 3 RBIs, moving his team-high batting average to .569.
Brayden Jones had two doubles, while Gray and Colton Carter had two base hits and 1 RBI each.
Lakeside’s next game is Tuesday at 6 p.m., a home date with district frontrunners, Calvary Baptist.
