Minden fans came out in full force Tuesday for the annual Meet the Tide night. Minden’s home gymnasium, The Palace, was loud and proud as the Minden Crimson Tide varsity, freshman team and Webster Junior High were introduced. Following the introduction of the football teams, the Tider Line, Red Wave, varsity cheerleaders and Louisiannes put on dazzling performances that brought the crowd to their feet. Head coach Spencer Heard addressed the crowd briefly and the Crimson Tide got rowdy at center court while calling it up to conclude the night. Minden opens the 2017 regular season next Friday, Sept. 1 at Haughton, but get a good warm up this Friday, Aug. 25 with two jamboree contests in Haynesville against the Lakeside Warriors and North Webster Knights.
