COTTON VALLEY – At least three construction workers have been hospitalized after trusses collapsed at a construction site on Highway 371 in Cotton Valley Monday afternoon.

Trusses are pieces of framework typically used to support roofs. They are installed from a significant height, usually six feet or more.

“They set the trusses up, and it’s kind of like a stack of dominoes,” said one man on the scene of the accident who wished to remain anonymous. “If you knock one domino over, it’s going to knock the whole stack over, and that’s what happened here. They
