Crash snarls I-20 traffic

by Minden Press-Herald

A two-vehicle crash on Interstate 20 Monday slowed traffic as crews cleared the scene. It happened at the 48-mile marker just before noon. Responding officers said a flat-bed pickup truck was traveling east at speeds around or under 40 miles per hour when it was struck from behind by another pickup truck. The driver of the second pickup truck was reportedly looking at a GPS device and did not see the flat-bed truck. The driver of the flat-bed truck received a citation for driving under the minimum speed limit. No injuries were reported.
