Culvert replacement has been underway on Old Arcadia Road since Thursday. Webster Parish Public Works Director Teddy Holloway says the temporary one has been replaced with a permanent one, in line with repairs submitted to the Federal Emergency Management Agency. He says while the area of road that washed out during the March flood will remain gravel for now, they are currently preparing several roads for permanent repair. The repairs are being paid for through the parish transportation fund, and the damaged roads have been submitted to FEMA for reimbursement.
