Funeral services for Daphne M. Edwards will be held Friday, Sept. 8, 2017 at 2 p.m. at North Acres Baptist Church in Minden with the Rev. Jeff Gray, the Rev. Ross English and the Rev. Everett Geis Sr. officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Minden under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Daphne was born Oct. 25, 1931 in Effie and entered into rest Sept. 1, 2017 in Minden. She was a member of North Acres Baptist Church where over the years she served in many different capacities. Daphne managed the S&H Green Stamp Store.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Carl Shelby Edwards of Minden, daughters, Carlene E. Fuller of Minden and Diane E. Bricker and husband Dan of Oklahoma, grandchildren, Andy Fuller, Brian Fuller, and Zachary Bricker, three great-grandchildren, one niece, one nephew, and a number of other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Andy Fuller, Brian Fuller, Zachary Bricker, Richard Clark, Robert Ervin, and Randy Ward.
