Springhill police have reported a slew of recent meth distribution arrests.
On May 7, Springhill PD arrested two women on warrants for distribution of methamphetamine after detectives had gone undercover and purchased narcotics from them.
Detective Ronald Wedgeworth and Sergeant Andy Rolen made contact with Donna Marie Fultz, 35, at her residence on 15th Street in Springhill. Wedgeworth had two warrants with a total bond of $150,000. Fultz was arrested and transported to Springhill PD to be advised of her rights and booked on the warrants.
Half an hour later, the officers found Kassie Rhinae Houck, 31, on Bassinger Road in Springhill. Three distribution of meth warrants had been obtained for Houck resulting from three undercover narcotic purchases. Total bond had been set at $225,000. She was arrested and transported to Springhill PD to be advised of her rights and booked on the three warrants. Both Fultz and Houck were later transported to Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center in Minden.
Springhill PD also had three distribution of meth warrants out for a Jeffery Mitchell, 24, of Cullen. On Febrary 23, the department was contacted by Harrison County Sheriff’s Office in Gulfport, Miss. saying they had Mitchell in custody and had a hit confirmation when searching records for active warrants.
On April 25, Mitchell signed a waiver of extradition back to Louisiana. Springhill Police Chief Will Lynd and Detective William frazier picked Mitchell up and transported him to Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center in Minden, where he was booked on three counts of distribution of meth with a total bond of $300,000.
