Funeral services for Mr. Ellis Hines, 86, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, 2015 at St. Rest Baptist Church with Rev. B. J. Martin, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Sheppard Street Cemetery.
Ellis Hines was born Oct. 1, 1919 to the late Octavia Bryant and John Hines in Chitersten, Arkansas. Mr. Hines departed this earthly life on July 24 at Minden Medical Center.
He leaves to cherish his memories a special friend, Louise Miller; stepdaughter, Stephania Jackson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from noon until 7 p.m. Friday, July 31 in the chapel of Kennon’s Mortuary. Services are entrusted to Kennon’s Mortuary. Email condolences may be sent to [email protected].
