Fibrebond purchases assets of Illinois firm

Fibrebond Corporation purchased the assets of International Supply Company, a manufacturing firm based in Edelstein, Illinois. The transaction closed Tuesdayand ISCO’s employees returned to work on the same day.

ISCO manufactures custom, engineered-to-order generator enclosures and UL-listed fuel tanks for critical back-up power use. The company specializes in sound attenuation and electrical integration. The company builds its products in its 180,000 square-foot manufacturing facility in Edelstein and ships them both nationally and internationally.
“We value that ISCO bridges our two primary markets today, Power and Telecom, in terms of its products and its customer base. We look forward to working with our new team members to grow the company’s global presence while maintaining deep roots in the local community,” Walker said.

ISCO will be operated as a division of Fibrebond and will maintain its divisional headquarters in Edelstein, Illinois, approximately 15 miles north of Peoria.
