"We were blessed to have 73 percent of our total dealer group that sold trailers last year, come to Minden for our conference," said Bill Garrison, Vice President, marketing.
Of interest to the people of Minden is that Clement has now tripled their employment since the recession of 2009.
"Due to the attitudes and commitments made by our dealers at the meeting, the future looks outstanding for the years ahead," Garrison said. "As a result, our employment will continue to increase in the months ahead."
High points of the event included the plant tour, which impressed the group with the great improvements in both efficiency and housekeeping which have been made in recent months, two products, the aluminum line and the side dump trailers that have been sitting on the shelf all through the recession that have been prepared for marketing.
"Probably most important of all was the enthusiasm and optimism the individuals took back home with them when they left Minden," said Clement President Grayling Hill. "Not to be overlooked however, was the 16 new trailer orders they left behind for our people to manufacture."
