The Lakeside Warriors used a seven-run first inning to power them past Jonesboro-Hodge, 13-3 on Tuesday.
Lakeside starter Cameron Corely took the win on the mound for the Warriors, as he scattered eight hits over five innings. He allowed three earned runs and struck out nine.
Austin Ashley led the Warriors' offense with a three-for-three day. He also drove in two runs.
Luke Griffith and Chase Woodall both had two hits and drove in a run, and Thomas Lambert and Josh Prince both doubled in runs. Jake Gray and Corely both singled and drove in a run.
Lakeside will host Homer on Thursday.
