Brown - Fusilier engaged to marry

Caroline Nealy Brown and Jacob Brice Fusilier, both of Baton Rouge, are pleased to announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

Caroline is the daughter of Gary and Melissa Brown of Minden. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Rebecca Cambel Marvin and the late Charles Allen Marvin of Minden, as well as the late Mr. and Mrs. Newt Brown, also of Minden.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Lakeside High School. In 2009, she graduated from LSU with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She will graduate summa cum laude in May of 2013 from Lady of Lake College with a Master of Medical Science in Physician's Assistant Studies. She is a member of Chi Omega Fraternity at LSU. She is currently employed in emergency medicine at Lady of Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge.

Jacob is the son of Patrick and Renee Fusilier of Eunice. He is the grandson of the late Mrs. Jesse and Mr. Levin Fusilier of Basile. He is also the grandson of the late Mr. Ernest Manuel and the late Mrs. Betty Thibodeaux of Eunice.

Jacob graduated from Eunice High School in 2004. In 2007, he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University. He is a member of Tau Beta Pi, Honors English Society, and is a HOBY Mentor. He is employed by Exxon Mobil - Baton Rouge as a mechanical engineer.

The couple will be marry at 6 p.m. on May 25, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church of Minden. There will be a reception immediately following the ceremony at the home of the bride's parents in Minden.
