With nighttime temperatures rising yet still not too warm, many folks begin considerin' campin' out. And I readily admit bein' one of those who does the considerin'. Only problem is, it seems I'm always too busy to entertain the idea any further than stirrin' up fond memories.
That wasn't the case when I was growing up, though. In fact, I'd camp out at the slightest opportunity. Even if it was no more than sleeping in the back of my dad's pickup or spending the night in the hay barn, I'd grab an old quilt to sleep on and light a shuck outta the house.Subscribe to Read!
