A Minden woman has been arrested by Caddo Sheriff's deputies for allegedly making fraudulent loans and keeping the money.
Tanshemekia Harris, 27, of Minden, is a former employee of a loan company in Shreveport.
Caddo Parish Sheriff Steve Prator said Harris came under suspicion when company officials noticed a shortage in her cash drawer.
"The manager conducted an audit of Harris' recent activity and discovered 13 fraudulent loans totaling almost $5,000," Prator said.
CPSO Detective Doug Smith obtained a warrant for Harris. She was arrested in Minden last Monday and booked into the Caddo Correctional Center on charges of theft.
