The Glenbrook Apaches will be looking to rebound the next time they take to the diamond following a rough trip to Texas where they lost four of five games.
The Apaches participated in the Kilgore Tournament where they lost to Pleasant Grove, Carthage, Longview and Central Heights.
The bright spot of the tournament was a 12-2 victory over Rusk.
In the Rusk game, Clay Simonton and Conner Copeland each went two for three with a pair of RBIs. Others contributing to the win were: Logan Clark (2 for 3), Dakota Shannal (2 for 2), Jacob White (1 for 3), Tristan
Sanders (1 for 3 with an RBI) and Sutton Jones (1 for 3).
The Apaches lost 2-1 against Pleasant Grove. Picking up hits in the game were: Shannal (1 for 3), White (2 for 3), Simonton (1 for 3 with an RBI), Cameron Matthew (1 for 3) and Spencer White (1 for 3).
The Apaches fell 10-0 against Carthage. Logan Clark had two hits in the game. Cameron Matthew had one hit.
Against Longview, four Apaches picked up hits in the 4-0 defeat. They included Logan Clark, Dakota Shannal, Jacob White and Tristan Sanders.
Against Central Heights, Jacob White went two for two and Cameron Matthew, Corey DeMoss and Clay Simonton each had an RBI. The Apaches fell short, losing 8-6.
