Funeral services for Caroline Taylor Perritt, 18, will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, April 24, 2014, at First Baptist Church in Arcadia. Bro. Lamar Skinner and Bro. Allen Jordan will officiate. The interment will follow at Alabama Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 p.m., Wednesday.
Caroline, affectionately known as Queenie, was born June 26, 1995, in Minden to Randall and Leigh Ann Perritt. She entered into rest on April 21, 2014, in Minden.
Caroline was a senior at Simsboro High school and was scheduled to graduate on May 22. Caroline loved anything dramatic. She loved to sing and perform. Caroline was an amazing daughter, sister and friend.
For the past 16 months she had been the most awesome aunt ever to Noah. Caroline loved with her whole heart and enjoyed life to the fullest. She found joy in the simplest of things. She loved to hunt and fish with her daddy, shop with her momma and spend time with her family and friends.
The family asks that you honor Caroline's memory and her love of beautiful things by wearing bright colors to her services.
She is survived by her parents, Randall and Leigh Ann Perritt of Arcadia; grandparents, Willis and Betty Perritt of Arcadia, Ill., Pat Kendrick of Port Neches, Texas and Janice Johnston of Ruston; sister, Ashlyn Perritt of Arcadia; brother, Tyler Perritt and fiancée, Samantha Bickham of Ruston; nephew, Noah Perritt of Arcadia; and by numerous other family members and friends.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Perritt, Brett Nobles, Trey Foster, Brian Kendrick, Justin Beatty and Gary Floyd.
Honorary pallbearers will be Simsboro High School Class of 2014.
