Domestic call ends in wreck

A Minden police officer, answering a call concerning a domestic disturbance with weapons involved, was part of a two-vehicle accident on the corner of Cherry and Theus streets Tuesday.

Minden Police Chief Steve Cropper said Officer Chase Wimberly was backing up fellow officer Tina Douglas, who responded to a call between a woman and her juvenile grandson involving a knife and a baseball bat.
