Portion of East Todd shut down to repair infrastructure

Minden city workers replace two rotted pipes that carry water under East Todd from Country Club Circle to Cooley Creek. Public works director George Rolfe said the $65,500 project, which is in the 2013-14 city budget, will take about four weeks. "We are replacing the two parallel corrugated steel pipes with arched, reinforced concrete pipes," Rolfe said. "It is not a simple project because you have other lines that run under the street – water lines, sewer and gas. There is limited space."
