American Legion to hold tryouts

The Minden-based American Legion baseball team team has announced they will begin holding tryouts..

Any player interested in playing should call or text Kirby Moore at: (318) 464-7714; or e-mail kmoore_34@yahoo.com.

Players birthdays must fall in 1993 or later to be eligible to play. Any player north of Alexandria, in northeast Louisiana is allowed to join the Minden team.

There will be at least two, possibly four tryouts dates. Tryouts will be May 15 at 6 p.m. and May 19 at 1 p.m. Other possible tryout dates are May 22 and May 26.

All tryouts and practices will be held at Griffith Stadium in Minden.

Players already playing in another team or league may still be eligible to play; so please contact Kirby Moore for questions.
