INTERNET KNOCKED OUT

by Minden Press-Herald

Straight line winds blew trees over on Hwy 615 Northeast of Shongaloo. These trees broke poles in half. 144 count fiber was laying in the highway as vehicles and log trucks rolled over it. Eventually, the fibers were crushed. About 80% of New Wave’s lines in Louisiana are buried, but 20% are aerial and subject to this type of storm damage.
