Funeral services for Jacquelyn S. Brown were held at 2 p.m., Friday, Dec. 26, 2014, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, with Bro. Steve Gilley officiating. Interment followed at Arlington Cemetery in Homer. The family received friends from noon until service time Friday, Dec. 26, 2014.
Jacquelyn was born August 2, 1927, in Haynesville and entered into rest Dec. 22, 2014, in Minden.
Her first husband, Mavis L. Tucker; second husband, Andrew E. Brown; son, Raymond L. Tucker; granddaughter, Gena Tucker; and sister, Billie Jean Prestidge preceded her in death.
She is survived by her son, Gene Tucker of Minden; daughters, Sharlotte Armstrong and husband, Richard of Minden and Priscilla Gadel and husband, Bradley of Woodworth; brother, Buddy Williamson of Ft. Worth, Texas; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jason Branch, Josh Tucker, James Tucker, Derek Thrasher, Dustin Smith and Wayne Jones.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
