Funeral services for Janice Northcutt, 59, of Shreveport, will be held Friday, Sept. 1, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Rockett Funeral Home Chapel in Ringgold. Officiating will be Bro. Ed Dilworth and Bro. Ronnie Osborne. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery in Ringgold. Visitation will be Thursday, Aug. 31, 2017 from 5 until 8 p.m. at Rockett Funeral Home.
Janice was born March 8, 1958 in Shreveport and passed away Aug. 28, 2017 at her residence in Shreveport. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howell and Billie Basinger; niece, Beth Bridges and father-in-law, T. D. “Shorty” Northcutt.
Left to cherish her memory include her husband, Gerald Northcutt of Shreveport; daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Jason Bates of Heflin; sons, Jerry Northcutt and wife, Teresa of Bossier City and Jordan Northcutt of Ringgold; sister and brother-in-law, Marsha and Wally Watts of Minden; grandchildren, Paige Bates and Kallie Bates of Heflin and Hudson Northcutt and Eleanor Rose Northcutt of Bossier City; mother-in-law, Jolynn Northcutt of Arnauldville; nephew, Craig Watts and his wife, Suzy of Shreveport, and a number of other relatives and friends.
