Ladies of Lakeside to play powder-puff game for charity

Lakeside High School is playing a powderpuff football game for Operation Homefront.

Their will be three games played with the first game featuring Freshmen girls vs. Junior girls, followed by sophomore girls vs. senior girls and the night cap will be the championship game between the two winners.

The festivities will begin Thursday, October 2, at 7 p.m.

Here are the rosters for the teams.

Freshman girls

Madison Swilley, Ally Doyle, Destiny Thornton, Caroline Reno, Diamond Montgomery, Tiara Trim, Khizane Esparza, Jasmine Richardson, LaJasmin Lewis, Kelly Booth, Gaitha Middleton, Maricella Garcia, Tyeshia Odoms and Hailey Jones.

Sophomore girls

Kerrie Gotshall, Alyssa Redding, Laura Robinson, Deirdre Johnson, Janet Brown, Shonesty Kinsey, Alyssa Gusman, Cheyenne Gloer, Kendall Brunson, Madison Couch, Cassandra Hill, Ana Lopez-Cole, Brittany Thomas, Nikki Crain and Tamera Wright.

Junior Girls
Abby Reynolds, Mikayla Bates, Madison Mouser, Sommer Laliberte, Katelynn Bowers, Kayla Lee, Ally Maness, Cassy Monday, Tffany Odom, Karrie Taylor, Chelsea Cummings, Marissa Davidson, Hannah Shively, Hannah Garcie, Marjorie Bailey

Senior girls

Emily Herrington, Emily Maness, Rachel Vickers, Alexis harvey, Allie Lofton, Allison Powell, Bailey Howell, Bridget Callendar, Cayla McKinsey, Destine Joiner, Emily Robinson, Erin Powell, Heather Schenk, Jessica Hernandez, Jordan Lindsey, Lakia Lyles, Misty Swilley, Morgan Phillips, Tamisha Kelley and Ariel Wallace.

The teams will be coached by Lakeside senior football players. Raffle items will be sold during the game, as well as concessions. All proceeds from the game and raffle will benefit Operation Homefront. Everyone come out and support these girls as they battle it out for a good cause.
