The Glenbrook Lady Apaches moved to 3-0 in district and 8-1 overall with a 9-4 victory over district rival Prairie View Tuesday in Bastrop.

“I’m proud of the girls tonight,” head coach Roo Johnson said. “We made adjustments at the right time. We’re looking forward to a couple days of work and getting back at it Monday.”

Alyssa Martin got the win in the circle, striking out five batters over five innings. Hannah Mosley pitched the final two innings and had a double and 3 RBIs at the plate. Kate Marvin had an RBI double, Megan Sims had a single and 2 RBIs and Emma Earnhardt had 2 singles and an RBI.
