Bossier City, LA — Graveside Service for Mr. Lewis Jackson Hughes Jr., age 58, will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, October 8, 2018, at the Whispering Pines Cemetery, north of Minden, LA, with Pastor Tommy Parham officiating.
Interment will follow in Whispering Pines Cemetery, under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill, LA.
Mr. Hughes was born on September 8, 1960 to Louis Jackson and Mary Ables Hughes in Minden, LA and passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 in Bossier City, LA. He was a warehouse manager for AIM of Louisiana for 18 years. He enjoyed fishing, and watching sports.
He is survived by two sisters; Jean Davis and husband Randy Floyd of Hawkins, TX, Mary Anne Lapsley and husband Donnie Sheeley of Bossier City, LA; two nephews, Corey Davis and wife Sasha of Tyler, TX, Brian Lapsley and wife Jessica of Keithville, LA; niece, Misty Smith of Minden, LA; two great-nieces, Ray Anne Smith of Minden, LA, and Evangeline Lapsley; and great-nephew, Elijah Lapsley, good friend David Lafferty, and his work family at AIM of Louisiana.
Mr. Hughes was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Rebecca Hughes, and Jackie Cummings.
