Looking forward to this week’s playoff games

Minden Crimson Tide

Minden High will host Peabody in the first round of the LHSAA class 4A playoffs Friday at 7 p.m. in The Pit.

The Crimson Tide finished the regular season with a 7-3 record and a 48-14 beat down of Northwood. The Crimson Tide enter the playoffs having won six of their last seven games.

Peabody will enter The Pit at 7-3 also, coming off a wild 76-56 win over Leesville.

Lakeside Warriors

The Lakeside Warriors qualified for the LHSAA class 2A playoffs despite falling on the road last week to Lakeview, 60-26.

The Warriors at 3-7 enter the playoffs as the #29 seed and will play on the road against one of 2A’s best squads, East Feliciana.

East Feliciana comes into the match up with Lakeside with a record of 7-3 on the season.

North Webster Knights

The North Webster Knights wrapped up regular season play with a huge home win over the Booker T. Washington Lions in Springhill.

The win brings North Webster’s record to 7-3. The Knights will stay at home for their first round playoff game versus the Marksville Tigers.

Marksville is 7-3 on the season.
