Funeral services for Margaret Yount will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday April 14, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden with the Rev. Dee Anders officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Minden. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m., Monday, April 13, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Margaret was born Oct. 31, 1927 in Fryeburg and entered into rest April 10, 2015 in Minden. She was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord, and her church family, and was loved by everyone. She will be greatly missed by all and she made a huge impact on many people’s lives.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Edward Todd; son, Charles Lynn Todd; and 2 great-grandchildren, Bailey Anne Turnage and Mark Anthony Bray.
She is survived by her husband, Claude H. Yount Jr. of Minden; sons Claude H. Yount III and wife Lori of Minden, Tracy O’Neal Todd and fiancée Wanda Thomas of Haughton and Teddy Ross Todd and wife JoLynn of Minden; daughter, Dawn R. Todd Armstrong and husband Clayton of Minden; sisters Mattie Ford of Minden, Mary Hedgecock of Minden, Johnnie Faye Stephen of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; numerous grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great great-grandchildren; special constant caregiver and friend Teresa Powell for over 30 years; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Terrell, Mark Tharpe, Marcus Gibson, Luke Adams, Eddie Prince and Kalob Prince.
The family extends a special thanks to Gamble Hospice and Dr. Bolger for the care given their loved one.
