Martha and Larry Rhodes are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary April 8.
They were married by Reverend Harlan Smith on Good Friday, April 8, 1966, in the Bryceland Baptist Church. They are both natives of Bienville Parish and have lived in Minden all their married life. They are the parents of two daughters; Paula Rhodes McCann and Torie Rhodes Banks. They also have four grandchildren; Sarah McCann, Molly McCann, Rhodes Greer and Cooper Banks.
A family celebration will be held Sunday afternoon, April 10 at the home of their daughter.
