MHS stadium, gym condemned

by Minden Press-Herald

The Minden High School football stadium and old gymnasium have been condemned.

This comes after recent floods have compromised the structure of the stadium, according to a letter sent out by Minden High School Principal Robin Tucker.

According to sources, the home side of the stadium has shifted about three feet.

In the letter, Tucker says that under no circumstances will anyone be allowed in the stadium or old gym.

School officials have moved MHS’s graduation inside to the new gym and graduates will be issued six tickets for guests to accommodate space.

A live-feed of the ceremony will be fed to the auditorim for guests without a ticket.

More information will be published in Wednesday’s edition of the Minden Press-Herald.
