Minden Chamber reveals awards finalists

In preparation for the Red Carpet Awards Gala on Jan. 25, the Greater Minden Chamber released the finalists for its business awards Thursday.

According to a press release, a “large number of nominations” were narrowed down to the top 4 in each category through a “rigorous selection process.”

Business of the Year finalists are Brookshire’s, McInnis Brothers Construction, Meadowview Health & Rehab, and TG Companies, LLC.

The Small Business of the Year will either be Geaux Fresh, R&V Works, Sikes Pest Control, or Stat Home Health.

Four individuals remain in the running for Business Person of the Year: Jodie Martin, owner of Geaux Fresh; Logan McConathy, local State Farm Agent; Paul Brantley, owner of Minden Floral; and Rebecca Myles director of Meadowview Health & Rehab.

Lastly, the finalists for Community Partner of the Year are the Court Appointed Special Advocates, the Council on Aging, Project Reclaim, and United Christian Home.

“We appreciate the contributions each of these nominees provide to our community and thank them for choosing to do business in Minden/Webster Parish,” the press release reads.

Winners will be announced at the gala on Jan. 25. A limited number of tickets are still available.
