In the girls game, the Minden Lady Tiders (19-9, 5-3) were able to get a win, overpowering the Northwood Lady Falcons 55-24.

It was senior night at The Palace and Lady Tider head coach Jacob Brown was happy to honor his seniors with a win.

“We were able to honor our seniors who have been a part of this program over the last four years,” Brown said. “We hope this experience, being a part of athletics has helped instill a lot of values in them that will help them go on into the world and be successful.”

In the first quarter, Minden used a 13-0 run to take a commanding lead.

In the second quarter, the Lady Tiders got out in transition and ramped up the defense and rebounding to outscore the Lady Falcons 22-5 in the quarter.
