Motorcycle Awareness Month

Minden Mayor Tommy Davis presented members of the American Bikers Active Towards Education with a proclamation declaring May as Motorcycle Awareness Month on Monday. Diana Funderburk, public relations specialist for the Webster Parish chapter of A.B.A.T.E., said she hopes an increase in awareness will spark stricter distracted driving laws to protect bikers.
