Funeral services for Nancy Edwards Reeves will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden with the Rev. Michelle Harris officiating.

Interment will follow at Old Shongaloo Cemetery in Shongaloo. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday, May 16, 2016 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Nancy was born Feb. 15, 1930 in Haynesville and entered into rest May 12, 2016 in Dubberly. She was a member of Brushwood United Methodist Church, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Women’s Missionary Union, and Pioneers at AT&T. She served as a Cub Scout Den Mother and Happy the Clown. After retiring from AT&T after 32 years of service, Nancy enjoyed spending time entertaining residents at nursing homes as Happy the Clown, riding her tractor, doing yard work, traveling with her comrades with the VFW, but most of all she loved spending time outdoors and with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents Irma and Vernon Leggett, first husband James Wayne Milligan Jr., second husband Donald Edwards, third husband Melvin Conrad Reeves, son Richard Larry Milligan, daughter Mary Ann Milligan Lites and brother Vernon S. Leggett.
She is survived by her sons James Wayne Milligan of Pickerington, Ohio, Vernon Michael Milligan of Minden, daughters Nancy “Tootsie” Edwards Mann of Kent, Washington, Katherine E. Edwards of Fort Polk, Tanya Edwards Silva of Dubberly, grandchildren Tommy Lites, Kristi Milligan, Stephanie Milligan Knotts, Billy Joe Mann, Donald Mann, Lance Milligan, Ashley Frost, Jeffrey McBride, Megan Durrett, Nancy Silva, Edgar Silva, Jr., Hollis Davis, Matthew and Johnathan Reeves, Jason and Eric Milligan, Daniel P. Frost, and Johnnie W. Frost, 16 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and special family friend Amy Ray.
