Meet Reina Chavez, the first baby born at Minden Medical Center in 2018. She was born at 2:04 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 2. She was delivered by Dr. Robert Russell. Reina’s parents are Monica Lopez Chavez and Rufigio Chavez of Princeton. She was 8 lb., 15 oz. and 21 inches long. Relina joins the family with her three older brothers.
