Parish still repairing roads from 2016 floods


The Webster Parish Police Jury held their regular meeting and committee meetings Tuesday morning, voting to continue with phase two of repairs to parish roads damaged in March 2016 floods.

The road committee, chaired by Juror Steve Ramsey and vice chaired by juror Steve Lemmons, also voted to approve the road striping project for 2018, which is an annual occurrence.

Phase one of repairs is underway, but not complete, with 5 of 13 worst sites having been repaired thus far. The parish has contracted out these repairs to APTIM Government Solutions, LLC, to repair phase one roads, which in turn has
