The theft of guns led to the arrest of a couple on multiple charges.

Kimberly Rhea, 46, of the 100 block of Lindsey Ave. in Cotton Valley and Wade Coile, 48, of the 800 block of Kelly Drive were booked on three counts of possession of a schedule III drug, possession of a schedule one drug, two counts of a schedule IV drug, two counts of possession of a legend drug, three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of firearms in the presence of a firearm, unauthorized entry into an inhabited dwelling and theft of firearms.

Deputies and Sarepta Police searched Coile’s home Monday after he and Rhea became suspects in the theft of multiple guns from a Sarepta home.

In the home, authorities reportedly found a syringe with suspected meth inside of it along with a spoon with suspected meth. Deputies also found multiple prescription pills, including Ecstacy pills, and marijuana inside the home, according to reports.

A shotgun with a cut off barrel was also reportedly beside the bed.

The two were placed under arrest on the drug charges and transported to the sheriff’s substation. During questioning there, Rhea reportedly admitted to her and Coile entering a home and taking several handguns and shotguns.

The couple then reportedly sold the guns in Benton and Shreveport for drugs.

The two were booked into Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center.
