Funeral services for Rev. Lee G. Nunley will be held Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Point Chapel Assembly of God Church in Doyline with the Rev. Andy Harris, the Rev. Danny Moffett, the Rev. Ronald Dunn, the Rev. Bill Stroud, the Rev. Matt LaCaze, the Rev. Darrell Pilcher and the Rev. Garth Collier officiating. Interment will follow at Point Chapel Cemetery in Doyline under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 25, 2017 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.

Rev. Nunley was born Oct. 13, 1926 in Logansport and entered into rest Aug. 23, 2017 in Bossier City.
He was preceded in death by parents; William and Myrie Nunley, siblings; Troy Nunley, Pauline Neal, Pete Nunley, Marie Sizemore, Clive Nunley and Darrell Nunley.

He is survived by his wife; Lavell Pruitt Nunley of Doyline, daughters; Lavon Clark and husband Buddy of Haughton and Denise Reeves and husband Larry of Haughton, sisters; Mavis Reel of Houston, Texas, Almeda Holmes of Shreveport, and Etoile Langford of Lufkin, Texas, grandchildren; Michael Clark and wife Christina, Kimberly Clark Searcy and husband Randy, Cody Hunter, and Colton Hunter, and great-grandchildren; Eason Searcy, Ava Searcy, Rachael Wagoner, and Sophia Clark and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Michael Clark, Randy Searcy, Cody Hunter, Colton Hunter, Eason Searcy, James Schwartz and Seth Gauthier.

Honorary pallbearers will be Buddy Clark, Larry Reeves and Rick Nunley.

Memorials may be made to Point Chapel Assembly of God Cemetery Fund.

The family extends a special thanks to Cypress Point and staff, Willis Knighton Bossier ICU and 2nd floor staff, Dr. Michael Sewell and Dr. Royal Becker.
