Funeral services for Shan Bradford Cockerham, 44, will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 17 at New Friendship Baptist Church, Castor, with Pastor Taurus Johnson of New Hope #3 in Hanna officiating. Interment will follow at Old Castor Cemetery.
Shan Cockerham was born August 15, 1970, to the late Benjamin Cockerham and the late Quilla Cockerham.
He departed this life Jan. 8 in Plano, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Cyrinthia Patterson.
Family left to cherish his precious memories are three brothers, Winthrop Morrison of Castor, Jonathan Cockerham of San Antonio, Texas and Carlos Cockerham of Shreveport; uncle, Albert Morrison of Ringgold; Lake Eden Cockerham, Sascie James, Deric Patterson, Charmeda Patterson, Carlesha Patterson, Ashley Cockerham and Katie Cockerham; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services are entrusted to Kennon’s Mortuary of Minden.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 8:30 p.m., Friday, Jan. 16, with family hour from 7:30 until 8:30 p.m. in the chapel of Kennon’s Mortuary. Email condolences may be sent to [email protected].
