The South Webster Parish Industrial District recently welcomed its newest tenant to the neighborhood. American Rubber Products recently relocated to the industrial park from Benton to meet their growing needs. Owner Johnny Rambo says the company more than doubled their workspace by relocating to Webster Parish. The company brings in ground rubber (rubber buffing) from the retread industry. Rambo says once the rubber is in house, it is screened, cleaned and bagged for the end user. The end product is used for things such as the rubber flooring in playgrounds and rubber mulch.
