Thomas was born Oct. 18, 1939 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and entered into rest on Sunday, March 12, 2017. Tom was a veteran of the United States Air Force, he served in Vietnam and retired as Sr. Master Sargent. After 26 years of service he then went to work at David Wade Correctional Center where he retired as Lieutenant after 15 years of service. He was a devoted husband of 58 years, a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Tom was an active member of Sibley United Methodist Church and especially enjoyed the ramp ministry.
He is proceeded in death by his daughter Cynthia Gray and son Thomas Tobin.
Tom is survived by his wife Barbara, son Dennis Tobin and wife Kimberly. Granddaughters Stephanie Ferrell and husband Chris, Ashley Boyette and husband Kiel. Grandsons Sean Gray and Dakota Tobin. Great grandchildren Skylar, Maddie and Emily Ferrell and Jade and Jason Boyette.
Memorial services for Thomas Dennis Tobin will be held Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 2 p.m., at Sibley United Methodist Church in Sibley with Milton Geltz officiating.
