15 Under 40 honorees announced, to be honored next week

Tickets are on sale for the annual “15 Under 40” dinner and gala scheduled for 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 14 at the Minden Civic Center.

“Each year 15 outstanding young professionals are recognized for their accomplishments in their careers and communities,” Jerri de Pingre’, president of the Minden-South Webster Chamber of Commerce said. “A diverse selection panel reviewed and scored the nominees to distinguish the top 15 applicants.”

Guest speaker for the event is Ron Anderson, executive director of Project Reclaim, which operates a prevention-based afterschool program for teens, Life Skills workshops for elementary and middle school youth, and parent training and parental involvement activities for parents and guardians.

He is best known for his dynamic motivational speeches and presentations to youth, parents, educators, service professionals and community leaders for inspiration and life-changing insight.

Call the office of the Minden-South Webster Chamber off Commerce at 377-4240 to purchase tickets. They are $25 each.

Also meeting the criteria for 15 Under 40 honors are Jamie E. DeLoach, left, Candace S. Wimberly, Carli Stevenson Day and Shayla S. Coleman.
