STANLEY – Friday was a day Hayden Corbell will set aside for the scrapbook as Corbell threw a no-hitter in North Webster’s 10-0 victory over Lakeview.
The Knights right-hander kept Lakeview off balance all day, striking out seven batters and walking none. If not for a pair of errors, Corbell would have had the perfect game, but the Knights will settle for the impressive victory.
The Knights cruised past the Gators and totaled nine hits on the day, scoring three runs in the first, fourth and fifth inning.
Riley Orr led the way for North Webster, going 1-3 with a triple and two RBIs. Logan Vidrine and Blake Atchley each finished 2-3 with a pair of singles and a RBI. Patrick Modisette added an RBI single, while Daniel Lewis, Dallas Lay and Kade Garmany each had a single.

The Knights made quick work of Hicks in the Stanley Tournament behind big days at the plate from Clay Mahaffey and Kade Garmany who both finished 3-4 with two RBIs.
The rest of the Knights pitched in plenty at the dish and Michael Modisette threw a complete game for North Webster, striking out seven batters and scattering six hits over six innings.
The Knights did most of their damage in a seven-run first inning, but Hicks refused to lay down, answering with three runs in the third and one in the fourth to pull within three runs of North Webster.
The spark returned for North Webster just in time hang up five runs in the fifth and two more in the sixth to end the game early.
Riley Orr remains hot for North Webster. He went 3-4 with three singles and two RBIs. Dallas Lay also had a base-hit and two RBIs. Hayden Corbell, Dllas Lay and Daniel Lewis had RBI hits as well.

Choudrant 0
The Knights made it a perfect 3-3 for the weekend by 10-run ruling Choudrant in their Stanley Tournament finale.
The Knights held a 3-0 advantage late in the game before jumping on Choudrant for seven runs in the fifth inning.
Riley Orr capped his outstanding weekend by pitching a complete-game shutout, striking out nine batters and giving up one hit. He added a double and single for the Knights at the plate.
Daniel Lewis led North Webster with three RBIs including a two-RBI double. Blake Atchley went 2-3 with a double and two RBIs, Patrick Modisette had an RBI double and Logan Vidrine, Connor McClure and Hayden Corbell each had RBI singles.
