Basketball fans of all ages are in for an exciting day as Living Word’s 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament returns to the Minden Rec Center on March 15. Registration kicks off at 10 AM, with tournament action beginning at 11 AM.
“From the time you get there until the time you leave, it’ll be so much fun. We have kids and adults of all ages playing basketball or just enjoying watching the tournament play out,” said event organizer Kelsea Johnson.
More than just a competition, the tournament is also about giving back. “We get to show our community’s generosity by giving away every basketball goal and basketball at the end. What’s even more awesome is that the generosity is contagious because we have winners every year who give their goals to the next person,” Johnson added.
The event, sponsored by Living Word, aims to bring the community together while sharing a positive message. “Living Word is able to spread the good news of Jesus, basketball is just the bait!” said Johnson.
