Jones Elementary’s Horticulture Club’s first project was to plant and design fall arrangements to decorate the tables when the second grade parents came to eat Thanksgiving lunch with their children in November.

The club was designed to deal with the art, science, technology and business of vegetable gardens and plant growing. “The smiles on the faces of the kids listed back to front were priceless.” instructor Richard Lane said. “Great things are happening at J.L. Jones.”
