Public Notice: Village of Dixie Inn regular session August 8

The Village of Dixie Inn will meet for their regular session at 5 PM on August 8 in the Village Hall located at 60 Shell Street in Dixie Inn.

Agenda items include adopting financial statements for July; department reports from the water/maintenance department and the police department; reports from the aldermen and mayor; adopting resolution #0308082023 for the revised citizen participation plan; discussing removal of the speed bumps from Village Street; approving the mayor to sign audit and SAUP engagement letters with Cook & Morehart for the 2022-2023 audit; appointing Alan Davis as Chief of Police (effective August 8); and introducing tech support people / approving hiring.
